วันที่ 1 กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2566 หน่วยป้องกันและพัฒนาป่าไม้น้ำหนาว
นำโดยหัวหน้าสมชาย ครุธเกษ และเจ้าหน้าที่ เข้าตรวจสอบพื้นที่ป่าที่พักสงฆ์ป่าสามแยก แปลงปลูกป่าเฉลิมพระเกียรติฯ FPT25/2 โดยได้ถ่ายวีดีโอแบบ 360 องศา และภาพนิ่งด้วยโดรน ซึ่งภาพเหล่านี้ได้แสดงให้เห็นถึงความอุดมสมบูรณ์ของป่าที่ปลูกและดูแลรักษาไว้ประมาณ 3,000 กว่าไร่
โดยอาจารย์เกษม ดวงแพงมาต และคณะ เริ่มปลูกป่านี้เมื่อพ.ศ. 2537 และสร้างฝายเก็บน้ำภายในโครงการ
